The Cable Rod and Gun Club is holding its annual Pig Roast Sunday September 6, 11 am to 5 pm. Come try your luck at the 75 bird shoot, wobble trap, standard trap, skeet, sporting clays, .22 shoot, “mad minute” and Annie Oakley. All gun ranges are open the entire day. We have a $100 cash raffle, table raffles, “mystery gun” raffle, great food & fun for the entire family. A food bracelet is only $10 for all you can eat pork, corn on the cob, potato salad plus desserts. A variety of beverages are available for purchase. Get in on the cash raffle anytime from now until the Pig Roast.
Members, this is also a great time to help out your club by volunteering. What can I do to help? Glad you asked. We need help in the following areas:
- Make Potato salad, beans or desserts
- Serve food, steam corn, assist in clubhouse
- Staff a raffle table.
- Staff a shooting event.
- Help with setup before or tear down after the event.
- Clear garbage during the event.
