NRL22 additional match – Now April 25, 2021
April 25, 2021 @ 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
DUE TO A FORECAST FOR RAIN THIS WAS MOVED TO SUNDAY APRIL 25TH
Our first NRL22 shoot this spring is Saturday, April 24th now Sunday April 25th due to rain forecast. Guests are welcome, but your membership is appreciated. Sight-in begins at 9:00 AM, the mandatory safety briefing is at 9:45 AM with match shooting at 10:00 AM. We will shoot the 5 official NRL22 stages and maybe one bonus stage. Stages are typically 10 rounds fired in a 2-minute time period from various positions and/or barricades at reactive targets set at distances from 25 to 100 yards. Rifles must be 22LR only. Any rifle is OK but detachable magazines are best. Scopes are a big help but some shooters have used open sights. They didn’t score as well but still had fun.
If you don’t have a suitable rifle we have one you can use but you must supply the ammunition. (See details below.) Other equipment that is helpful is a bipod, shooting bag, binoculars, shooting mat; with some also available for borrowing.
If this sounds like too big a challenge to you, We are hosting an Introduction to Precision 22 Shooting on May 1.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged with room for only 21 shooters. Please contact the Match Director, Jim Rau, via email or call 715 292 2998.
Open to Ages 8+ (must be able to safely handle the rifle unassisted)
Cost: $15 for non-members / $10 for members.
Shooter provides their own ammo. (You need 60-70 rounds for the course plus extra for sight-in.)
