Are you interested in becoming a better shooter?
Would you like to know more about practical shooting techniques?
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at FRIENDLY competitive shooting?
Then you should be at our NRL22 rifle shoots. This is a family friendly, fun form of shooting that uses .22LR caliber rifles. Any .22LR caliber rifle will work but it helps to have an adjustable scope and a detachable magazine.
Matches are typically the 2nd Saturday of each month May – December. Sight in and a safety briefing will take place prior to the match, which starts at 10:00 AM. Shooting consists of 5 official stages and 1-2 bonus stages. Stages are typically 10 rounds each on a 2-minute timer. You will shoot from a variety of barricades, props and positions at reactive steel targets from 25 to 100 yards.
On-site instruction is available. New adult and youth shooters are encouraged to attend! All shooters are welcome with NRL22 members earning qualification points and entry into the monthly prize drawings.*
Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. We limit the number of shooters to 21.
See our calendar for the monthly schedule. If you have any questions, please call or e-mail match director Mitch Tromberg at (715) 431-0169 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Additional information is also available on the NRL22 website.
You do not need to be a club member or NRL22 member to enjoy a day of shooting but membership does have its privileges. Cost is $10 for Cable Rod & Gun Club members or $15 for non-members.
* Monthly drawings are conducted by the NRL22 organization and for NRL22 member only. Membership in the Cable Rod & Gun Club is separate from the NRL22 membership and we have no input on the outcome of their drawings. Please see their website for drawing details.
